CYANIKA COMMUNITY PROJECT
Since Christmas we have been able to send a further sum of money to our account in Rwanda – some of which is to be spent on the purchase of sheep for the Cyanika community, who live in a very poor region right on the Congonese border in the north west of the country. This was a project which was to be supported by another UK charity who had failed to raise the necessary funding – so we were asked to step in so that the people would not be disappointed. This we have been pleased to do and Anastase will be presenting these sheep shortly – and the group from the Goboka Rwanda Trust who are visiting the country in July 2018 will be travelling to this region to meet both sheep and people!
